Description: Oenothera biensis is a herbaceous plant from the evening primrose family (Anagraceae) with a stem 40-150 cm high and covered with hairs. Leaves (ovate – long) – Flowers (large, yellow). Root (thick and red). The reason for the name is because the flowers bloom at dusk.

The plant originated in North America and has spread to other parts of the world. In Iran, it has been observed in Hamedan (Abbas Abad), Tehran (Shamiran) and various regions of Azerbaijan
