Description: A perennial plant from the horsetail family, without flowers, with a black rhizome. Two stems grow from this rhizome, one of which is green and umbrella-shaped in summer and the other in winter, which is without chlorophyll and has a hogweed at the tip of its stem. It grows in sandy soils with surface water below it. It is native to the regions of Gorgan, Tabriz, and Azerbaijan
