Nature: Warm and dry

Active ingredients: Seed epidermis (outer layer of the seed): Contains mucilage that causes constipation, the seed contains 30 to 40 percent fixed oil, which includes: various glycerides such as: linoleic acid (60%), linolenic acid (20%), stearic acid (8%), oleic acid. These oils are used in the preparation of various ointments such as oleocalker ointment (lime water and flax) to treat burns or flax with the addition of alcohol or potash soap to relieve rheumatic pain. Another substance is called pyrosic acid, which is formed when water is added to the seed and is a laxative. It also contains pectin, vitamin F, and oxalic acid.

It is mostly used for livestock and birds due to its high fiber content

Oil: Laxative (oral), anti-burn and anti-inflammatory and abscess (massage)

Caution: Excessive consumption of flax seeds reduces vitamin absorption and causes diarrhea and poisoning with this plant
