Description: It is mostly found in the forests of northern Iran. A shrub 1 to 2 meters long and evergreen, its fruit is juicy, the size of a hazelnut, which is reddish-black when fresh and its flowers are yellow-green. Its leaves are bitter and its smell is unpleasant. Its leaves are needle-shaped

Properties and method of use:

Oral: antiparasitic, antihemorrhoid, aphrodisiac 10 grams in one liter of boiled water, one glass daily with honey

Poultice: anti-bruise, itching and burning of the skin, split ends (poultice of leaves with vinegar), anti-pyorrhea (with 100 grams of honey, rubbing), anti-wart, anti-infectious wounds, anti-warm swelling, removing tartar, relieving toothache (with vinegar)

Rub: (30 grams in one gram of water), anti-tartar (15 grams with 15 grams of sea foam and 15 grams of chalk, apply on the toothbrush and on the teeth)

Witch hazel oil (rubbing): anti- Hemorrhoid bleeding, massage on numb limbs, swelling reduction, anti-wart.

Aquatic killer (fish)

Caution: Oral consumption in higher doses is toxic and causes stomach and throat discomfort and miscarriage.
