Description:

Flavonoid Isomers that are mostly found in the legume family (Fabaceae) and have phytoestrogenic properties (weak estrogen agonists). They are rarely glycosidic and have an estrogen-like structure, So they bind to estrogen receptors in the body and exhibit estrogenic activity.

Properties of isoflavones in the body:

Anti-syndromonopor (mps)-Useful in cardiovascular diseases-Helping to treat osteoporosis-Antivirus-Anticancer-antibacterial-Antifungal-Antioxidant, Antimutagenic-Anti-inflammatory-Phytoestrogenic.

Some types of isoflavones:

1). Genistein (GNS)

An isoflavone compound found in plant proteins (soy-tofu)

Properties: Eliminate vasomotor symptoms of menopause (Hot flashes, fatigue, Night sweats, Prevention and Treatment of osteoporosis, etc.) – Insulin resistance – Anti-Inflammatory – Antioxidant – Neuroprotective (helps to improve MS).

2).Daidzein:

is a non-Steroidal plant compound that has estrogen-like biological activity (Daidzein is aglycone (aglon) daidzein)

Sources:

Soybeans – Peas – Unfermented soy foods, Such as tofu.

Properties: help in the treatment of climatic syndrome, Adjuvant treatment of prostate cancer, Adjuvant treatment of breast cancer, Reduction of heart diseases, Angiocardiopathy.

3).Glycitein: Such as Genistein and Daidzenin

 4).Buchanin A: Another Isoflavone

Sources: Red-soybean

Properties: helping to reduce the conversion of testosterone to dihydroxytestosterone (DHT) and reducing alopecia (baldness) and increasing hair growth – Controlling diabetes – Helping to reduce liver enzymes – Reducing Urea and keratin – Anti-inflammatory and…

5).Eckol:

It is Metabolized to Daidzenin.

6). Formonenetin: less effective than Genistein and Daidzenin

Sources: Ononis spinosa devil’s bean (spinosa) – Crimson

Properties: Help to treat (Breast cancer, Prostate cancer and colon cancer). Help to reduce blood fat- Diuretic.

Plants with isoflavones:

Corn seeds, Sesame, Soybeans, Peanuts, Pistachios, Walnuts, Apricot kernels, Green beans, Dates, Peaches, Strawberries, Mung beans and alfalfa sprouts, White and Black beans, Garlic and Grains, Sweet bayan, Red clover, Black cohosh (root) )-Fennel-Anise-Five Fingers-Tyahedene-Cumin-Garlic-Grain-Devil’s Beans
